We left Collinsville, IL at 9:30ish.
First stop was at the Route 66 state park which is where Times Beach, MO used to be.
Then we had lunch in Eureka, MO.
Then we went to the Meramec caverns. It is right on the Meramec river & the water was so high that it had covered the picnic area.
We did a lot of driving looking at stuff.
We went through Bourbon then to Cuba. There were lots of murals in Cuba.
Then we went to see the Giant rocking chair in Fanning.
We ate dinner in Rolla, MO & we finally ended up in Waynesville for the night.
Lots more driving tomorrow.
